What to Expect in a Relational Coaching Session

Relational coaching focuses on your personal growth and self-development in a compassionate, non-judgmental space. Together, we will identify and transform patterns that no longer serve you, fostering a deeper connection between your body and mind. This process helps you build trust within yourself, enabling you to live the life and cultivate the relationships you truly desire. By exploring the root causes of these patterns, we create a more attuned and harmonious internal experience. 

Each session is tailored to meet your specific needs, combining body-centered approaches with the structure of coaching. We begin with a conversation to understand your current challenges and goals. Using a blend of body-based and cognitive practices, we work through your experiences holistically. Through NeuroAffective Touch, a form of intentional, mindful touch, we bring unconscious memories stored in the body into conscious awareness. As these emotions surface, I will guide you in processing them, helping your mind make sense of these insights. Together, we’ll work toward building your capacity for lasting embodied change and personal transformation. 

This approach goes beyond resolving past wounds—it empowers you to become a more secure, resilient, and authentic version of yourself. Throughout this journey, you will gain deeper self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and foster more fulfilling relationships aligned with your true self. 

My Body-Based Approach

My body-based approach helps you tap into the unconscious memories and stories stored within your body. By working with your body’s sensations and felt experiences, we begin the process of transforming emotional, relational, and nervous system disruptions. Secure attachment starts with feeling safe and grounded within your own body. The nervous system plays a vital role here, as it can become stuck in incomplete stress response cycles, preventing you from feeling secure. To resolve this, I use two core practices:

My Cognitive-Based Approach

In addition to body work, my cognitive-based approach focuses on reshaping the mind's patterns. Together, we’ll identify and challenge negative thoughts, transforming them into healthier, more constructive beliefs. We explore core beliefs about yourself, others, and relationships—many of which were shaped by early experiences. Gaining insight into how these past attachments influence your present relationships helps you develop healthier relational dynamics. Additionally, you’ll build practical skills for improving relational attunement and communication. The two key practices I use are:
